Vertical magnetron sputtering coating equipment is a physical vapor deposition (PVD) device with a vertical structure design, where the substrate and the target material are arranged perpendicularly.


 It uses a magnetic field to confine the plasma, enabling ions to efficiently bombshell the vertically installed target material. After the target material atoms/molecules escape, they are vertically deposited on the surface of the vertically placed substrate, forming a uniform film. The equipment is mostly equipped with multiple target positions, vacuum chambers and transmission systems, which are suitable for batch or continuous production requirements.

2.The substrate is placed vertically. During the coating process, particles are less likely to adhere to the film surface, which can reduce film layer defects.
